STRETCH is designed to manipulate and reshape images through controlled stretching. Adjust parameters like strength, position, distance, and angle to create fluid distortions and unique visual transformations. Built for flexibility, STRETCH allows precise control over how elements expand and warp within the frame.
This version includes a watermark, displayed as a grid of black plus signs on the image. The demo version is perfect for users who want to explore the software’s features and functionalities before making a purchase.
“Stretch DCTL” is versatile, operating seamlessly on PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. It has been rigorously tested with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs on PCs, as well as with the M1 chip on Macs, leveraging both CUDA and OpenCL infrastructures. It’s crucial to note that DCTLs are only supported in the DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Minimum Requirement: CPU: Intel Core i7, AMD Ryzen 7, or Apple M1 RAM: 16 GB GPU: 4 GB VRAM
Recommended Requirement: CPU: Intel Core i9, AMD Ryzen 9, or higher-tier Apple Silicon RAM: 32 GB GPU: 8 GB+ VRAM
Potential Issue Animating DCTL Parameters in DaVinci Resolve
In very rare cases, you may encounter an issue in DaVinci Resolve where keyframing DCTL parameters does not function as expected. Typically, the keyframing feature works smoothly. However, on rare occasions, keyframes might not behave correctly.
This issue stems from a minor limitation within DaVinci Resolve itself, rather than from the DCTL. To ensure compatibility, it’s recommended to download and test the demo version first.
I will provide updates here if Blackmagic addresses this issue in a future software release.
